Retirement developments
Open-book costs and support for older residents.
Retirement developments often have a house manager, alarm systems and communal lounges, and some leases include event fees on resale.
What residents should know
- Service charges must still be reasonable and follow the lease.
- Contingency or reserve funds are held on trust for leaseholders.
- Retirement blocks can use the Right to Manage like any other qualifying building.
We manage retirement schemes on an open-book basis and explain every cost.
